SENTIMENT ANALYSIS OF E - COMMERCE TOKOPEDIA REVIEWS USING MT5
Sentiment analysis of Indonesian e-commerce reviews plays an important role in understanding user perceptions of products and services. Transformer-based models, particularly the Multilingual Text-to-Text Transfer Transformer (mT5), provide an effective text-to-text approach for sentiment classification tasks. However, model performance is highly influenced by the selection of training hyperparameters. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effect of batch size variation and number of training epochs on the performance of the mT5 model in Tokopedia review sentiment classification. The dataset consists of Indonesian reviews categorized into two sentiment classes, positive and negative. The research stages include preprocessing, SentencePiece tokenization, mT5 model training, and evaluation using accuracy, precision, recall, and F1- score metrics. The experimental results show that a smaller batch size tends to produce more stable performance but requires longer training time, while a larger batch size requires more epochs to reach optimal convergence. The configuration using batch size 4 and 10 epochs achieves the best performance with a training accuracy of 0.963. These findings highlight the importance of proper hyperparameter selection in optimizing Transformerbased models for Indonesian sentiment analysis.

This study developed and evaluated a web-based Maintenance Management System for the General Services Office of Northern Iloilo State University (NISU) - Batad Campus to improve campus maintenance efficiency. The system streamlines task scheduling, assignment, and monitoring, enables real-time request tracking, and enhances communication between requesters and management. Replacing manual processes with a digital platform, it promotes efficiency, transparency, and accountability. Evaluation using ISO/IEC 25010:2011 standards rated the system Very Highly Effective, with high scores in Functional Suitability (4.60), Performance Efficiency (4.49), and Reliability (4.49), and improvements in request processing (4.70), tracking (4.55), and communication (4.64), achieving an overall grand mean of 4.53. MunicipalTube: Batad Uncovered
In the digital age, video-sharing platforms have become vital tools for communication, information dissemination, and community engagement; however, many local communities in the Philippines, including the Municipality of Batad, still face challenges in accessing timely information and maintaining efficient communication with local government offices. To address these gaps, this study developed MunicipalTube: Batad Uncovered, a dedicated website that delivers local news, community updates, and promotional videos, alongside features such as an event calendar, contact directory, and interactive map. Guided by the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Input-Process-Output (IPO) framework, the study evaluated user perceptions of the platform's usefulness and ease of use, with respondents—including residents, local officials, and IT experts—reporting high ratings in usability, efficiency, functionality, and overall quality, consistent with ISO/IEC 25010:2011 standards. The findings show that the platform effectively informs residents, strengthens community identity, encourages participation in local initiatives, and improves interaction with government offices; however, it also revealed the need for improvements in accessibility for persons with disabilities to ensure inclusivity. Overall, MunicipalTube demonstrates strong potential as a digital solution for enhancing local communication, fostering community engagement, and delivering a reliable, high-quality user experience for Batad residents.

By integrating barcode scanning technology with a centralized database, the system enables students and faculty to log their attendance through their library cards with barcode, ensuring quick and accurate entry processes and minimizing errors. The system features a dashboard that visualizes library usage demographics through word cloud, bar chart, doughnut chart, pie chart, line chart, and polar area chart, allowing librarians to monitor engagement, identify trends, and allocate resources effectively. Additionally, the system incorporates data analytics to interpret visual data and provide descriptive analysis. Developed using HTML, CSS, PHP, and MySQL, the system followed the Iterative Software Development Methodology to ensure continuous refinement based on user feedback. Indigenous artisans of the Panay Bukidnon community continue to struggle with preserving their cultural heritage and promoting their handmade products due to limited market access, labor-intensive profiling processes, and the absence of digital tools that support fair pricing and broader cultural visibility. These challenges restrict their economic opportunities and hinder the passing down of traditional craftsmanship. To address this gap, this study developed Sa Gugma sa Atong Kultura, a community-driven marketplace for indigenous artisan designed to highlight Panay Bukidnon culture while enabling artisans to manage their profiles, showcase products, and engage in direct e-commerce transactions. Using an Agile development process, the system was built as a responsive web application with a React.js frontend, Node.js backend, and MySQL database. Twenty-six participants including Indigenous artisans, the Head of the Calinog Indigenous Peoples Office, customers, and IT experts were involved through interviews, surveys, observations, and system testing. The platform integrates key features such as artisan profiling, cultural content, messaging, and a machine learning-based dynamic pricing algorithm that adjusts product prices based on historical data, seasonal patterns, and local supply and demand. Results showed that the system is excellent with an overall mean score of 4.80 and received positive evaluations in functionality, usability, reliability, performance efficiency, maintainability, and portability based on an ISO/IEC 25010:2011-adapted assessment.
