Dr.C.V.Gopinath is a senior academic leader with over 34 years of experience in teaching, research, training, and higher education administration. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, and is currently serving as the Director of the MITS, Rayagada, Odisha. He began his academic career as an Associate Lecturer at the Government Polytechnic, Zaheerabad, and subsequently served with GITAM University, Visakhapatnam for 13 years in various academic capacities. Prior to his current role, he held senior leadership positions as Principal at JITM, Paralakhemundi, Odisha, and at BITS, Vizag. He has played a pivotal role in securing NBA and NAAC accreditations for several institutions, contributing significantly to institutional quality assurance and academic governance. Dr.Gopinath has actively contributed to the academic community by organizing numerous International and National Conferences, Workshops, and Seminars. His research interests primarily include 3D solid modelling, CAD/CAE, and Reverse Engineering, and he has published scholarly papers in these domains. He has delivered keynote and invited lectures at reputed institutions such as Queensland University of Technology (Australia), BRAC University (Bangladesh), University of Perpetual Help System (Philippines), institutions in Bangkok (Thailand), and NIT Agartala (India). He has served as a Ph.D. thesis reviewer and has successfully supervised doctoral research scholars. In addition, he is a corporate trainer for NALCO, Damanjodi, Odisha, and regularly engages in leadership and faculty development programs. Dr.Gopinath is a Certified Academic Leader, having completed executive leadership programs from the Deloitte Leadership Centre (India), Academic Staff College of India, Engineering Staff College of India, and the Dale Carnegie Academic Leadership Program. He is a Visiting Professor at the University of Perpetual Help System (Philippines) and Centre for Peace Studies (Sri Lanka), and is actively associated with the Independent University, Bangladesh, reflecting his strong international academic engagement.

Ladies and gentlemen, distinguished guests, colleagues, and students- it is my honor to introduce a truly exceptional Filipino engineer and global leader. Our speaker today is Engr. Hazel Galas Lampitoc, the 2025 Outstanding Alumnus and the 2026 Most Outstanding Alumnus of the Western Institute of Technology, honored for his remarkable contributions to engineering, leadership, and international service. He is a Professional Computer Engineer, a Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registered professional specialized in Computer Engineering, and a lifelong learner who holds a Master of Education major in Mathematics, a Master of Theology, and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Information Technology. He also completed the Teaching Certificate Program (TCP) at the lloilo State University of Fisheries Science and Technology - Dumangas Campus, earning 21 units in 2002. For more than two decades, Engr. Lampitoc has served the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with excellence. He is the Senior Electronics and Computer Engineer at SAMIR & TRADING CO. -CJSC in Riyadh, where he leads innovations in Biomedical Engineering and the Internet of Medical Things (loMT) - technologies that support life- saving systems in hospitals across the region. He also serves as the International OJT Industry Supervisor of Sulu State College (SSC) in GCC-Saudi Arabia, guiding and mentoring students toward global industry standards. His leadership has strengthened SSC's international presence and opened opportunities for students to gain real- world experience and global competitiveness.
